Work in progress. (No guarantee that the series title will stay as it is.) I am photographing the 120 km stretch of a dismantled railway line between two Latvian port cities: Liepāja and Ventspils. The tracks and most of the railway sleepers were removed in the early 2000's. Today the route is used for forestry purposes etc. and the locals use it for various needs of their own. In some places the route is overgrown.
I started photographing in the late summer of 2018 and have so far proceeded (almost inch by inch) about 90 km from Liepāja towards Ventspils. The project is on hold due to the travel restrictions resulting from the Covid-19 pandemic.
