Relating Latvia

"In November 2002 I flew to Riga for a magazine assignment. After a boring conference I met a Latvian writer. She was not boring. She was looking for a husband. Soon we got married and settled in Helsinki. We started making regular family trips to Latvia, to its countryside. While the city was living to fulfil dreams of future, in the country people were still reaching for their past-time dreams..."

Henrik exhibited 41 pictures, in sizes 41x29 cm and 29x21 cm, in Galleria Luova.fi in Helsinki, April 2008. In the opening party of March 27th also two small photo accordions by Henrik were released: one of them bears the title Relating Latvia. They can be bought at Henrik's co-publisher's bookstore Luova.fi in Helsinki centre or their online bookstore (or directly from Henrik).
