From Scratching the surface, 2016
Henrik Duncker is a Helsinki-based photographer and artist. Through the 1980's he concentrated on music and architectural drawing before adopting an interest in photography. Educated at the University of Art and Design Helsinki, Henrik graduated with an MA degree in 1993. From the same year Henrik has been exhibiting internationally and his works are housed in KIASMA Helsinki, Moderna Museet of Stockholm, The Finnish Museum of Photography among others. His pictures have been printed in a multitude of journals, magazines and supplements such as The Independent, The Sunday Telegraph, The New York Times, Libération, Wired, Details, Süddeutsche Zeitung, Carl's Cars and Helsingin Sanomat.
